well as the thread states, i have seen some mustangs that have a cargo net/pocket thing above the head.

my car does not have this as i do not have the GT Premium. is there a way to get this and how does it secure to the headliner?

I think they were only used in the '03 models. My buddies terminator has it and so did this '03 Mach 1 I was looking at buying. You might have to get that from either a donor car or direct from Ford. Not sure about securing it to the headliner.

well, it looks like there is a place for it to mount, like a flat spot. will have to make a trip to a ford dealership to see if its a part that i could purchase.

It wasn't an option it was standard.

I do not know the years though. I know for a fact 2004's and 99-00's do NOT have it.

All 2003's have it.

I don't know when it started though. It's possible it was a 2002-2003 only thing, or maybe it was a mid-year 2002 feature?

Either way, whenever it was introduced, it was standard on all models.

It comes in damn handy though. I put everything in mine.

I agree that its rather handy. I only keep my insurance card and cell phone in there though. I don't want it dangling down because it gets stretched out so try to keep from putting large items in there.

I also use mine for anything that will fit up there. Currently it houses my glasses, a pen, and garage door opener.
