Heads? Spark Plugs?

Well ive had my car for about 2 years and when i bought it the guy told me it had GT-40 aluminum heads. I went to replace the spark plugs and they have a very short thread Autolite 764 just wondering if i really do have GT-40 heads? what type of plug should i be running?

do the heads look alluminum (shiny metal, or at least non-rusty looking metal)

Gt-40 heads DO use an Autolite 764 plug.

Now to tell if they are aluminum or not....

Well, get a magnet and put it on the head. If it sticks it's iron, if it doesn't it's aluminum. ust is a dead giveaway for iron heads as well
