Hey guys awhile ago when i did my intake I pulled the valve covers to clean them and noticed the heads said "windsor" but forgot to write down the other ID numbers on them. Do E7 heads say windsor on them or are they not the stock heads? Any help would be great, i can take the valve cover off if needed. Thanks in advance.

It it says WINDSOR with a large W below it, you have World products windsor sr.'s If it say j/r below the windsor,, you got windsor jr's. Either way, you probably got some pretty good heads.

That's a pretty ignorant statement. There are many different types of GT40 heads: GT40 iron, GT40P iron, GT40Y aluminum, GT40X aluminum.....and I believe they just came out with a GT40Z. Even the regular iron GT40 is still much better than stock E7 heads.

Thanks alot, I really just needed someone to confirm. FINALLY I get a break on this car! Do you happen to remember the combo you ran? I would be running these heads, edelbrock performer intake, custom comp cams blower cam with 10-15 psi after the rebuild(10 with the powerdyne then 15 when i upgrade to a S trim or Paxton). Dont care much about power but I would like to see 11's.
