shaftmasters is having a sale. 449 for a 1 piece aluminum driveshaft. 4".

its about time that we have a driveshaft that isn't double the price of sn95s or older.

i'm gunna be ordering it maybe tomorrow morning. they offer 2 different ones, one with a adapter plate, and one with a new pinion flange.

ordered SCT + 3 custom tunes tonight, gunna order the driveshaft tomorrow, hoping to order bogarts after i find out how much the fr500cj wheels will be. this drag season should be SWEET:nice:

I applaud your effort to singlehandedly turn around the failing economy. ;)

Should be fun. I am curious what you think of the driveshaft. That is on my list of future mods, mainly because I want the thing to wind up and wind down quicker -- looking for less inertia in the drivetrain.

hah, just figured alot of people here would like that being the cheapest one on 5.0 resto is like 750.

i'll definitely post when i install it. i've had a driveshaft loop waiting to go on my car, just waiting to have a reason to take off the driveshaft.

i want to see a little bit of light underneath a tire this season, thats all :nice:

are you going to be doing any front suspension work ....like replacing the brace in the front with the one from the BMR shave about 30lbs off the front end..??

already done. or are you talking the k member?

i replaced the radiator support and removed the front swaybar. i've considered the k member but my dad said for a daily driver he probably wouldn't recommend it.

still considering it though :D

alloygt, i was about to buy one a few months ago also, for the full price.

i bought my phone like 2 days before black friday, then found out it was half price on black friday. i was just like ugh.

and steel horse, they say it gives you a free tenth in the quarter or better. and everyone i've read who has got one, said it definitely registers on the butt dyno.

Yeh I was talking about the radiator support.. NICE ..damn you should post sum pics. Ive been wanting to do that...how is the daily drive... Since mine is my DD I have to do suspension mods that will also keep my daily 60 miles to work and back comforting..

honestly, i like it more then with the front sway bar. i can't take turns at 80 anymore. but i don't need to. turns you feel a little nose dive at higher speeds, but other then that nothing major. my last mustang i took the front sway bar off too and loved it. and it feels like the front end lifts up better when your WOT.
i want to get some drag springs and adjustable struts so i can keep the front raised while shifting.

highway, no difference really except for exciting on tight ramps you can feel the nose dive down a little bit. city, not really any change.

got my exhaust cut outs yesterday, i'll be ordering an offroad pipe to install them on soon.
