I have a few sets around, and have thought hard about using them, they are excellent heads, especially if ported. The only thing I don't like about them is having to switch from the pedestal rockers.
If you don't mind setting them up with screw in studs, plates, hardened pushrods, and roller rockers, then they go on fine. (You will need either shoulder bolts or bushing washers for the head bolts, they are a commonly available part.)
Also, you have to make sure your upper is raised up high enough to clear the taller valve covers you'd need for the stud mount rockers.
Personally, I like the pedestals. So the Windsor heads stay on the shelf.
Fwiw: 69-74 are same heads.
There is a 69 head marked '4V' with 58cc chambers, the rest have 60cc. Everything else is indentical.
