Hear a grinding noise on 98 Gt at idle? Idler pulley?

Just like the subject says, I hear a grinding noise at idle when I'm out of the car and it is getting slightly worse, is the idler pulley a common problem...

I need to take a look and see what it might be...

Just wondering about any other ideas on what you all think it might be or a common problem?

As for a grinding, i'm not quite sure.

My tensioner pulley first began with a chirping noise then eventually led to a squeal.

The idler/tensioner (pulleys are the same) pulley costs about $14 a piece.

It might be common. My 98 motor went throught 3 pulleys because of noise. ANd usually the new one would get a rattle here and there after a few startups.
