yea i agree, thanks man appreciate it. KBB said base price for my car is $4300, but I figure with all the mods that have been put into the car it brings it up to $8500 tho. Im not sure how that will play a role in the totaled check/fixing in the car, but im praying its fixable cuz my parents said next whip is going to be a beater = /

haha....lets just say Im young and im still learning. Before the stang I had a v6 camaro that i totaled, it wasnt my fault tho lol.

My dad talked to the shop today, they said $ 6900 to fix everything . So i guess now the insurance company has to head over there and asses the car, see how much its worth, and decide if its worth fixing it or totaling it...may god help me.

I feel your pain I had bought a Mach 1 with 8k miles on it had it for 3 weeks and put a 1k on it and had it totaled out cause i girl freaked out when she got cut off on the highway. She lost control of her car and came into my lane and i t-boned her at about 50...car was totaled to say the least. Ins gave me 2k more than I paid for the car, i just leveled with them and said I have mods on the car that I want off, if i replace them with stock parts would that be ok? They agreed, pretty much had a swap fest in my driveway with a guy who had a 99 cobra and made some extra money there plus got all my mods off the car. If they would have let me I would have bought it back and sold the engine, trans, and rear end out of it. Good luck with everything

right now im in orlando, UCF.

Insurance adjuster checked the car out today. Said it was unrepairable and said he would give me 4800 for it...sad day in my life.

OP, cars can be replaced. You can't. Just learn from the situation, and when you get another car, be careful. 4-5k is about what I would have expected.

Hey man, sorry for the loss. I'm pretty sure you can buy another stang for 4,800. I bought my 2003 mustang gt for $4,900.

Thanks guys, im going to take it easy now. I REALLY want another stang but I dont think its happening. I dont think my parents would let me get another one and with 5k i cant get what I would want. So my parents decided im going to get my moms truck (2000 Sierra 1500 extended cab with some big ass muddin tires) and she gets the insurance money and gets to buy herself somethin nice. And Im fine with that. I need a year or two to relax from the stang, ill be nice and safe in the big ass truck and ill rule the streets again. Ill save up for a couple years and when I find the right stang itll be mine
