heat spacers worth it?

I was thinking about getting a heat spacer between the upper and lower intake. I was going to do this since my upper intake gets so hot. Think its worth it? Anyone have any good or bad experences with them?

also I am woundering if the trick flow spacers summit sells will fit my edelbrock intake manifold.

This topic was covered not even a week ago. The general opinion was that they don't do squat, they're more of a benefit for someone looking for extra clearance between their intake and valve covers. Some folks actually had more problems out of them than anything else.

A heat spacer will only make a difference if you have the EGR ports blocked off at the heads and the coolant lines disconnected from the EGR spacer. Otherwise its a waste of money unless you need it for clearance.

i like the one inch one cuz you can retorque your lower intake manifold bolds with out having to take your upper intake off.

I'm running

I'm running a spacer with my Holley Systemax... it reduced the temp of my upper intake considerably, I was quite suprised gotta be helping out some. I have had no probs with mine.
