how can i fix this? i replaced the sensor, but that wasnt the problem. also, im still running lean on both banks even after cleaning the MAF. so i put my stock housing back on and im going to clear the codes. if that doesent work, what should i try? the fuel pump and filter are new.

First off, what's the code exactly? If it's bank 1, it's passenger side, bank 2 is driver side.. sensor 1 is front, sensor 2 is rear.

If it's the rear's, you probably have wires crossed/backwards/disconnected.. or your MIL elims are hooked up wrong.

If it's fronts, crossed wires/backwards wires/disconnected wires.

Cleaning your MAF has nothing to do with the heater circuit on the o2 sensors.. that's part of the wiring that brings the sensors up to operating temperature while the car is still in open loop. I would guess if it's happening on both sides, your mil elims are hooked up wrong, or you crossed wires somehow.

it throws codes
lean on bank 1 and bank 2
heater circuit malf. bank 1 sensor 1.

i cleaned the MAF in attemt to fix the lean codes. then i figured my MAF could cause the lean codes, so i changed it back to the stock housing.

i know the heater circuit heats the o2's. i figured that there might be a problem with the sensor, but its still there with the new sensor. so im guessing the wiring from the sensor to wherever it goes is bad.

the light for my rear o2's is off with the mils, so they should be in right or it would show the ineffiency code, correct?
