I guess I really never noticed this before or even payed any attention to this, but should your heater make small shifting sounds when you switch between the settings on the air-flow output selections (right hand knob on heaterpanel)? It also makes similar sounds when you turn the heater on/off. It seems like this would be normal as it sounds like little servos switching directions/closing. Just wondering, since I've been doing some electrical work in the car and I'm hoping this is normal.

On another note, the electrical work that i just did was to install a trunk release button in the glove box area (on the 2" left-hand section of the dash behind the glove box door). I used a trunk release button from a 88GT, so it looks Factory, even says TRUNK RELEASE. Sweet, I no longer have to get out of the car and use the key to open the trunk!

If anyone is interested in doing this, contact me for questions with instructions.

It's the butterflies that direct air through the different vents opening and closing.
