Heater tube thread size?

I have to clean up the threads on the lower intake manifold where the heater tube assembly screws in.

Does anyone know the size of the tap I need?

Has anyone removed the tube assembly and plugged it? If so what size bolt did you use?

i though cave men knew everything

the lower manifold takes a 1/2 npt.

my understanding is ppl buy a 1/2 npt bushing that reduces if from 1/2" to 3/8" npt and put there ect sensor in that bushing and cap off the other side.
