Hello all, how good are Hedman Headers? i found some brand new 1 5/8th full length in the box Longtubes for $75 (painted black) i would probally have them ceramic coated, so were looking at probally another $150-$200 are they cheap? are they worth getting? who has had experience with them? thanks

good headers.. i have the LT's.. make good power.. check to see if they have 02 sensor holes.. mine didnt.. my dad accidently bought a carb set.. but i welded them in and they work great!

they dont have bungs, but my dad own an exhaust shop so ill be able to weld some in! thanks for lookin out, glad to se someone who actually uses them, did you have to double gasket them or anything like that?

I had a set on my old Chebby truck that I built. I thought they were a heck of a deal. They held up fine for me, and they fit real good like. The price was right too. Plus, I got a sticker with them, so I got free horsepower!:hail2:

nope, i never double gasketed them.. i just use the ones they gave me.. there a PITA to put in.. you have to jack up the motor and pull the starter out the way.. and i put mine in when i had it tore down.. no heads and i still had to.. so good luck

Yea they are a bitch but in the end I think its worth it. Great bang for the buck headers. All the bends are nice and smooth and even where they meet the flange it is not creased or crinkled. Mine fit great on the passenger side but did need some tweaking on the drivers side, but overall great headers.
