Just wanted to say hello from Rockmart Georgia. New here and this is my first post.Got a 91 GT with 70000 miles and plan on doin a auto to tko swap later this spring. The AOD is slowly dying lol.
Hello, I don't even know if this website is still active or not but here is the problem... I have a 1995 ford mustang 3.8L everything is stock or factory replacements. Car sat up for about 2 months, when I started driving it again I noticed that the battery was a little slugish to start the engine. Well after a few days I lost all power and the car shut off. OK, i figured that the battery and/or the alternator was bad. Had both checked at several part stores and low and behold both were bad. No big deal I thought. I bought both new alternator "not remanufactured" and new battery. Bolted them in and the car started right up. I let the car run for 30 mins came back and the lights were going dim. Cut off the car and tried to crank it up........ DEAD BATTERY. I have checked all the wires visible and all grounds and fuses. all good as far as i can tell. also had the new alternator checked at different places its good.
