Hello from Miami..

Every time I go down there I'm so glad to be back in Oregon when I get back. Miami has a "smell" that I'm sure comes from the swamps. It's not necessarily a bad smell, but it's present every time you walk out the door, and its unusual. And the heat there is horrible. It can be 90 degrees, but with all the humidity it feels like a 110 degree day in Oregon. Then it's raining one second, bright and sunny the next. Then raining again.

But other than that it's kinda cool. I dig the palm trees and walking into Walgreens at 10pm and buying liquor. Plus, Hollywood beach really rules. Way better than Oregon beaches!

Oh yeah, and if you're up north, check out the "Fantastic Cuban Restaurant" (that's the actual name) on Hallandale Blvd, between the dixie highway and the turnpike. The food there is awesome, and the prices are great. Cuban sammiches are the best!
