I thought I would give this thread a try and work on keeping my 65 C code 2bbl as stock as possible.

It's been in the family for years, I had the suspension redone with Moog and Monroe components. Big improvement over the 50 year old springs. New ignition as well, distributor was ok.

It's been garaged most of its whole life and never saw a salty winter. Only one bad spot in the trunk at the wheel well.

The tag on the carb shows it's off a 70's Mercury 351. That might be why it floods so easy. Float could be to high as well. I'm not sure if the stock fuel pump is on it. Was my Uncles car, and he only let his American Legion buddies work on it. Who were retired Ford, Lincoln , Mercury mechanics.

Thought I might put a manual choke back on it. Any thoughts on who I should be talkin to?

Thanks ! Being 95% original wont make it to hard. Looking at some Mag 500's with spinners in 15x7 for some 215/ 65 series tires all around for more parade bling and general fun. Not racing this one.
