Hello!!!

New to Stang net but not new to mustangs.
I have a calypso green 92 lx with a 306,
custom grind comp hydraulic roller,
extensively ported Brodix st 5.0 r heads,
victor E.F.I. Intake,
80 lb Siemens injectors and a vortech v2 si
on e85.
I put it all together and ordered a PiMPxs from Shannon over at stinger.
So far I have it up and running and have the idle dialed in pretty good.

hows it going. We have a complete digital tuning portion of this forum and many MS/ PIMP users on this site so if you have any questions or need some advice start a thread in the digital tuning forum and we can give you some good advice.

I started mine with an msd pro billet. I planned on getting a stock one and found out I had 3 in my parts shed (semi trailer) at my old shop.
I’ve yanked one apart and checked it out and cleaned it.
Plan on stabbing it in this weekend while finishing up the wiring re-do

Yeah, stock distributor or aftermarket with Ford electronics and shutter wheel.
I'm still trying to iron out a little cold start idle hunting but overall I've been really happy with the PimpXS
Not to derail but...

Are you using warm idle ve table? This keeps ve table 1 idle fuel tunable when cold and the idle ve table takes care of hot idle.
On cold idle you are not using the closed loop idle timing table. It's running on ign table 1 until the car reaches (140* default temp setting) get the idle timing in the ign table at cold idle smooth so the timing is not hunting around.

I can expand on this in your tuning thread if needed.

Ok, I'm a little confused but will have to find some time to look into what your saying.
I think the PimpXS tables may be set-up a little differently but I'm starting to get
better at navigating them.
Minor issue for now but it will get worked out, thanks for the advise and I'll let
you know.

the pimpxs is essentially an MS3, i tuned a turbo fox a few weeks ago running one of these systems and it turned out very well using the method mentioned above. If you want i can screenshot the tables and such in your tuning thread so you know where and what i am referring to.

Yep, the digital tuning section is very helpful.
Damn, I'm good. :D
