How much can you see in the head? Is it right up flush with the hole in the head? Basically my question is can u weld a nut to it? I have done that in the past it works great depending on where it is broken.

get some left handed drill bits and drill it out. no sweat man. no need to drop money on new heads.

that blows goats. the exact same thing happend to me when i did my manifold swap. both front lower bolts broke off in the front of the heads. i tried to use the bolt extractors to get it out but the bolt was too rusted in the head. i got the titanium slow speed drill bits and slowly drilled them out until the the bolt came apart. then i helicoiled it. works fine now. however if i had the extra cash to get those gt40s that would definatly have been an excuse to upgrade

I had a set of GT40P heads that I sold that had a bolt broken off in them. If you use a small enough bit, you should be able to drill it out, otherwise a machine shop could do it for next to nothing. I had one quote me like $35 to extract it, but I was able to get it out myself.
