I got the headers in ok......well, it was a PITA but I got them it. I cranked them down then went to install my Prochamber.......and it DOESNT FIT!! Measurring as best I could from the centerpoint of the holes in the headers...from header to header is 16 inches, but the prochamber centerpoint to centerpoint is 14.5 inches. What am I supposed to do....FORCE IT!? I don't think it'll go...please help.

I have mac headers. I also have a dr. gas or spintech X-pipe, which is weld together, it went right in without an issue

I think you may have an issue with primary size, do you have 1-5/8" or 1-3/4" primaries?

Not sure what I have...going to go back and try and find my invoice. WHat effect can the two different size primaries have on where the headers end up underneath the car?? Thanks for the speedy replies too!!

I know i was joking.....just take it to a muffler shop and get them to bend the h-pipe to fit the headers. Wont cost to much. It will save you from destroying things. Ive driven my car open header to the muffler shop 3-4 times. If the cops pull you over tell them your on your way to the shop and they will let you go.

the size of the primaries effects how the collector will be positioned. I know that 1-3/4" MAC LT's fit spintech/dr.gas x-pipes damn well.

I'm going to thread the Prochamber through the hangers tomorrow and squeeze under the car to take a digital picture, so you can see the deal. Now, I have no problem taking the car to the shop to have the Prochamber bent to fit....but my point is...it is a complete MAC system. I would think there is enough research in their design that this should be a no-brainer?? So I'm a bit confused that things don't fit....and what a buzzkill after those headers...I'm like YES, I'M OVER THE HUMP....oh darn, the Prochamber doesn't fit. Bummer

Yeah - before you start bending things, I'd get some part numbers and talk to whoever supplied the pieces for you. It's not uncommon for systems like that to be 1/4" - 1/2" off - quality control and MAC pricing don't exactly go hand in hand. But yours sounds like it's WAY off.

Ultimately I had the Prochamber bent to match my headers. Totally sucks, because it was supposed to be a bolt on system .....but I was overseas at the time too. If you have an opportunity to work with MAC and resolve the issue without any further expense to you ....I'd try that.

Plus.....that exhaust system was soooo obnoxiously loud ...I had to change it out. I couldn't take it any more. The one time I drove from Georgia to Virginia and back ....I wore hearing protection to keep from going deaf. It was bad.
