Im in the middle of replacing the waterpump gasket and i have it pulled off now. i need to know if there is a gasket between the water pump and the metal backing held by two bolts?? please reply asap i need to get the car back together or go order another gasket.
There is a gasket between the pump and the metal backing plate that is held on by the two bolts. if the pump is new, you dont need to change it, most times the kit comes with like 5 gaskets. should be in there.
