Help ASAP with Long tubes!!!!!!!

I cant put them in!!!!!!!! Is there like a trick or magic word i have to say , seriously though.... i tried from the top, the bottome with no luck!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you do a search for LT installs on here yet? I would look there.



Oh, you did lift the engine while trying this, right?

damn i do??? Well i got the driver side in with out any problems. **** i need to be done by saturday morning. There gonna tune it. And yes i just searched found a link by you...Thanks. Man this sucks i gotta unbolt the mounts!!!!!!! Man and im gonna have to do this again when i install the t-56!!!!!!!!1 Damn it!!!!! Im off to bed!!!!!!!

BTW, that is for a Fox, but there should be little to no difference.

Yeah, motor needs to come up a decent amount. The driver side is the harder side so you should be in the clear. Starter has to come out so keep that in mind, otherwise the passenger side is cake.

I had to jack my car up HIGH and then also jack the engine up till it hit the firewall to make it clear on my passenger side.

Pain in the butt... but well worth it. When you are done you will be ->

Is the egr tube on a different side than the shortys???? I cant still make this work!!!! Im disconnecting the starter i didn't read that part

Man its a bitch do do long tubes. i should of stayed with shortys!!!!!! Are they even worth the power gain??? I got some 1 3/4 inch

I got nitrous 2. i was like um 1 5/8 or 1 3/4??? Its only 1/8 of inch bigger, and an inch an together.

Sounds like a killer combo. Good luck with it. Mustangs have the absolute meanest sounding engines ever. That thing is going to rock.

Man im still not done these ****ing bolts are a bitch!!!!! I had to gring down the bolts that go on the inside side of the tube header!!!! And they still go in sideways. I just need to more and im of to the welding shop!!!! But i cant grind them enough for it to work.... Should i get studs or waht the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!

get kooks next time (if u have the money) ., Being able to put them in one primary at a time is KEY

one primary at a time is key, for the first install. But if u ever have to take them back off, prone to warping.

I've heard a lot of this but have not seen it in person. I'm thinking a lot of people over torque the header bolts without knowing it.

Im finally done!!!!! Now i need to take it to the muffler shop for them to cut and connect everything again! LT are a pain in the ass!!!!!!
