what are these things in my torque spits on my mass, there like little pins in the inside of the spit...how do u get the meter off with these things in there?

IIRC you need a special tool for that.

ooo ......i wish i would of known that before i took it out of my car....Does anyone known what tool it is? thanks for your reply...

Tamperproof torx bits. A T20 is the right size IIRC.

All of your better parts stores (and most of the crappy ones too) will have them. Just be sure they're TAMPERPROOF.

Advance has a set of them along with a lot of other goodies in a drill bit accessories set for about 10 bucks.

I purchased a 100 pc screwdriver bit assortment online for $15 has every type bit you could think of in it. Even one for wing nuts.

That's the exact set that I have... I must have gone through 3 sets replacing my convertible top. They use these damn small screws that are in there effin' tight and the bit just snapped!
