The two clutches don't make a good comparison to each other.

The CenterForce will hold more power than the KC and last longer in higher HP apps when correctly installed.

I think that the KC has a better release and makes it a LOT easier to speed shift than the CF does. I consider it the "lighter and faster" of the two.

Both have a good pedal feel and won't break your leg with effort.

Currently, I run the DF-CF and will likely stick with those until I find a multi-disk that I really like. I just didn't like the chances for the KC with the KB combo.

I agree but once you get used to the feel of the CF powershifting is a peice of cake.

I have had a King Cobra and Centerforce Stage II and drove the CF DF.

The Centeforces are definately softer pedals and hold more power, but the King Cobra is a great bang for the buck and probably is easier to speed shift, since the pedal is stiffer it will kick back quicker. That is just my take of it.

If you have 320rwhp or more, I would get something other than a King Cobra, just my opinion.

I have used the CF DFX in 3 of my Mustangs. Two with 400+RWHP, and the other a stock 91 5.0L. They all worked excellent. I will never buy another clutch. No use chancing any other brand!!

Neither lol Ram powergrip ftw. In all seriousness both are good clutches. I jus feel you cant grow with the king cobra and ive heard varied opinions on the centerforce.

Your sure its a stroker? Aftermarket heads? Just trying to get a feel of what kind of power you could be making.
