Help! Dash lights, speedometer and AC don't work

Thanks for the replies but I don't have an IPOD adapter. I tried to retune my car with an SCT tuner and nothing flashed on. I think it has something to do with ECM because there is a symbol on the dash that shows a man seatbelted with an apparent air bag blown up. That is the only thing I see lit up on my dash. The gas gage and speedometer doesn't work.

Dead battery man. Mine did the same thing with only 2000 miles on the car. Acted really weird with some things working and some not. It was as if the car was posessed! I had to replace it and the car fired right up. Ford wanted me to tow the car in just so they could change the battery. I told them to kiss my ass and I bought a damn battery from Autozone. Tow the car in just so they can change the battery in 5 minutes. Now thats just freakin retarted. Good Luck

Seeing this generation Mustang is the most technically advanced, it's going to be even more difficult to help each other out over the internet. It really sucks, but a lot of the problems we will have will need a scan tool to see what's going on... Smart Junction boxes, 100 times more computing power then the first lunar module.... It's just going to make everything that much more difficult.

I'd get it diagnosed. Over here in the UK, we have specialist conversions to convert the lights to UK spec because putting increased loads or not enough load on the SJB can cause it to burn out.

The airbag light is often to do with a faulty sensor or a glitch in the system and I think has to be cleared by a Ford dealer.

For gods sake man which fuse is it? I’ve been all through this 05 three times and can’t find anything that is causing the exact problem. Please help .
You are responding to a thread that was posted 15 years ago the odds are you won't get an answer. Especially so considering the OP hasn't made a post here since 2011. Have you used a continuity tester or pulled the fuses out and inspected them visually?

Fifteen years on you won't get a reply from the OP but I'm on hand to help.
Check fuses 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16 in the smart junction box. Multiple electrical problems are often the result of corrosion of the terminals in the SJB due to water intrusion into the passenger side footwell. Remove the cowl covers and check the drains. If there's water, replace the cabin air filter as it's likely to be filthy.
