HELP!! Electric Fan

Need a new fan my fan is dead well the motor is i dont want 2 spend very much on it but i was thinking of going electric fan if you guys can suggest some brands plz let me know. It stop working on me Saturday night in town and i had to let it cool down to drive an hour home once i got it on the high way it would stay cool but no where else. First the Tranny then this what could be next . Thanks Guys

I bought the stock fan brand new on Ebay for less than $100. I've had it for 10k miles, no problems.

they sell the motor only at most parts stores...... someone said recently it was only like 70$

mine was $50-60 from az for an oem one. The one I took out of my car had ford/semines on it the one from az just said semines s/p.

What did it have on it? Did you touch it?

Siemens does make the motors, and the new motor route is a good one, though some folks report issues installing it.

Are you sure the fan motor itself is what died out? It could be an ancillary wiring issue. You can bench test the fan to know.

yeah, remove it from the rad and put 12V to it and see if it works.

Its got to be the motor the fan wont move no matter how hard i try 2 spend it that with my hands by the way

When my motor went I tried to use just the fan motor from autozone and could not get the fan blade to attach to the new motor.I had to buy the whole assy. from Ford.

Mine fit just fine.

Yeah, for some reason you are not alone. That was the reason I cautioned the guy in my first post - just in case. That has to be slightly irritating.
