HELP FAST...Brake Light Switch...

Just finished installing my clutch pedal assembly to eliminate my AOD, and i thought I put the brake light switch on the way it came off, but i have no brake lights, help me please, pictures would be great too!

When I was doing some work in that area b4 I had a switch quit working.

Thats one of the most used parts in your car.
They tend to quit working sometimes. exp if you have been messing with it.

Maybe take it lose but leave it wired up and try to make the lights come on by using your hand to activate the switch.
If that doesn't work it's the switch.
there fairly cheap most parts houses stock them.

is it working by hand?

It should just slide right on the brake pedal and is held on w/ a cotter pin. The two progs that come out of it should be facing the rear of the car. Is the switch making contact w/ anything to activate it w/ the pedal is pressed? It should....

got it all figured out and the car on the road! now i just hafta finish the 5 speed conversion next weekend.
