help: flywheel/clutch

So today I had some time to work on the '66 and get the T5z back in. I was having more trouble than usual today and found out I had a busted pilot bearing. So i took off the bellhousing and clutch. Only to find what I think is more damage...
My clutch(flywheel side) looks like its been beaten up and my flywheel looks worse than what it feels. When I rub my finger/nail on the flywheel I can barely feel anything close to nothing. What do you guys with experience think from the pics.?

anyone have any idea if its fine to slap everything back on and drive or is this bad? if so what are my options at this point? i really need to get this back on the road asap since these are my wheels to get around.

Replace they clutch, pressureplate, flywheel and through out bearing. You can get a complete clutch kit from Auto Zone for about 150.00 and a reman. flywheel with lifetime warranty for about 75.00 from auto zone. I know I just did this.

+1 for replacing. Don't for the the T/O bearing too!
Sorry, but, something is going on here. In the real world, perhaps, it can be glazed, but certainly, not scored.

You have some significant hot spots on both the flywheel and pressure plate. I agree you should replace everything. Most likely it was not adjusted properly and was slipping much of the time. If it wasn't due to improper adjustment, then it's because you're riding the clutch.

Hmmmm.... Autozone? Although I've had Zero experience with their clutches. I did buy Their Top-of-the-line, Lifetime Guaranteed, "Gold" Series, Disc Brake Pads, for my Super duty! Now I got to tell ya..... These pads produce the most residue, I've ever seen.... So much, that my factory Alloys, look right in style, with all the current brands that are now producing Black Finished Wheels! I installed the new brakes, last June, and they're already due for replacement! No doubt about it, These pads were "Pure Gold" for Autozone! Sure, there warranted..... But I would rather have a "Good" set, that weren't!
