help!! found L bracket underneath my car

what is this part? i was about to change my fuel filter when i noticed this hanging. i've been hearing it clanking around but couldnt find out what it was. it sounded like the noise was coming from inside my interior panel.

is this a major fault? i just got the car about a week ago. since this is loose should i check for any damage from it shaking around or from just not being connected

ot for your car... either someone thought about making some torque box reinforcements out of em... or it got picked up off the road just right and swung itself up in there...lol

ok thats really weird... well i guess its less weight because the thing is solid and weighs damn near 5 pounds

well my dad said it might be a frame bracket... he owned a 91 for 15 years until he gave it to my brother but still maybe?

looks like a custom torque box reinforcment bracket to keep the hyperfootination valve from vibrating around corners to me

Looks like a bracket they use at auto body shop for straightening frames.

I think that gets welded to the driveshaft. ITs a driveshaft balancer
