Help from cobra owners in Myrtle Beach or Wilmington

I leave for Army basic training on Feb 3rd. While I'm gone my wife will be saving up money for me to get a stang after all my training (8 months at least). All my cars up to my Trailblazer have been stangs and I'm itching bad to get into another one. I am looking for a '03 - '04 Cobra to get after I get out, but have never rode in one. Are there any Cobra owners that would be willing to take me for a ride in their car? I don't ask to drive it, just to get a feel for the power difference from my old '03 GT and how the ride is. If so please let me know. I live in Shallotte so either Wilmington or Myrtle is a good distance. Thanks.

hey there, i don't live in your area but the 2003 cobra is a good second to 60 faster than your 03 gt. I believe the 03's put out 390 horsepower. whether you find someone to take you for a ride or not, you'll be able to drive one at a dealer before you buy it. you won't be let down i'm sure. welcome back

Thanks for the reply. It's been about two years since I had a Mustang so I'm pretty excited. I have seen some good deals on some '03 Cobras around my area. I'll see where we get stationed at and look there. The only thing I could see me getting used to is the sixth gear, but that shouldn't be a problem.
