I finally got an inline pump for my 98, does anyone know where the best place to mount it is. As far as I can tell it is a solid line from the filter to the hard plastic that goes into the rail.
makes sense, but has anybody installed one, do you have to extend the rubber tubing, or what? I havent got a really good look at it yet, but it did not look like there is a whole lotta tubing other than the hard lines (metal).
make sure you mount it below the sump it is sucking from (gravity issue) since it will be pushing extra fuel rather than pulling it from the tank directly. FYI you tie into the fuel line before the fuel filter.
Also make sure that the fuel lines you run to the inline are not braided. Braided hoses will make the sound of the pump and the fuel running through it echo like crazy and cause unwanted noise. Just a tip good luck
