Well I need to take off the lower intake to seal an oil leak. I've been trying to get these stupid fuel rails off so I can pull the lower intake completely off the car and clean it real good. However I cannot seem to get either the 2 lines loose going to the rails, the rails off of the injectors, OR the damn injectors out of the intake!
What am I doing wrong here?! I went to Advance and got the stupid tool you have to use for the lines to disconnect them but the tool seemed to be too small. (even though the tool said it was used for I think 85 up Fords.)

So then I decided I'll just take the rails off the injectors and sit it aside while still attached to the lines. I pulled up on them thinking they would just snap free of the injectors like my 4.6 does. I pulled and pulled up and they would not come loose!
x 2
Finally I figured I'd just take the damn injectors out of the intake and put the whole fuel system to the side while I take the intake off. They would not budge out of the intake. (maybe because the rails were still on)
So someone please give me a idiot proof way to get this damn fuel system off my intake!
