I am in the process of replacing the Heater Core on my son's GT, but, I cannot get the A/C line disconnected.
I removed the Freon and there are 2 little easy to remove clamps on the line right at the firewall. Under the clamps are metal donut things which the Factory Manual says to pull apart. They do not pull apart.

How do they come apart? Is there a special tool? What tis the part number and where can you get one?

Thanks Rod.

Should be able to use those fuel line disconnects. Without looking at it I'm not sure but maybe someone else will jump in with some advice.
