help identifing heads

okay, well i KNOW for a fact that i "had" E7TE heads, i bought them off of a friend on ebay. the castings on the bottoms said E7TE, now i had them on my 86gt for a while, then i got the motor rebuilt, heads were givin to the shop as well

The heads are ON block now with the lower intake attached... what im hoping is i can identify the heads without taking them off. the valve covers are off, and i see some markings, but none that really identify them as E7s. is there a way i can find out?

im wondering becusae the old ALT bracket bolt wont fit in the hole anymore... neither will the bolt that came with march alt bracket relocation kit for STOCK HEADED 302s... the hole on the heads now are too big, and filled with black **** ... help asap!!!

i dont know about e7's but my gt40's say gt40p on the valve side but i cant remeber about my e6's.

i know there not gt40 heads... for sure

what im thinking is the crackhead machinest put a set of 351 heads on it and took my built e7s

theres no way possible that they are my same heads, the alternator bracket hole on the side of the head is WAY to big...

OR

i could just be trying to do it wrong... correct me if im wrong, but dosent the huge bolt that goes thru the bottom hole in the alternator, connect right to the head?

theres a threaded plug that goes in the hole and then the bolt.

ahh, i see

so maybe they are my heads and i shouldnt be getting upset? where would i get another one of those threaded plugs? i know i dont have mine anymore
