This was my wife's 2004 GT, when we bought the car we understood these wheels to be an optional wheel from Ford. This car is long gone, but I really want to find some like them to put on my son's 99 GT. They look almost exactly like 2003 Cobra wheels, but the center isn't concaved like the Cobra wheels. They also had mustang logo on the center cap.

If I have to, I'll go with the Cobra wheels, but I liked these a little better...Any ideas???

2003-2004 pony wheels I believe. How much are you looking to spend? I have brand new tires on mine and am willing to sell if the price is right

What I'd spend depends on the what kind of shape they're in. Shoot me some pics and I'll take a look.... allthrtl(at)att.net

There 99-01 cobra wheels. Ford had an over run of them and put them on the GT's as a special edition package with a pony centercap.

No, they're not Cobra wheels, look closely at the hub of the wheel. Cobra wheels are concaved, where these are flat across the hub. However, I think I've figured it out. Cobra wheels are 17x9 where as these are 17x8, that's why the hub is a little different. Since I definately want 17x9's, minimum, I'm probably gonna go with WheelReplica's polished 03 Cobra wheels.

Whatever they called those wheels, apparently not many people bought that option. I've only been able to fine 2-3 other pictures of GT's with these wheels...

Yep, them 99-01 Cobra wheels(polished version obviously). I have them on my 03 GT. There are no aftermarket wheel company's that make that style. You can only get them from FRPP and the only come in 17x8. Truss me I did my homework. I wanted to get a set for drag radials. I bought the car new in 2003, and these wheels were an option for like 300 bucks or so. What a steal, b/c there like $169 a wheel (cheapest I found), and you can buy a 18x10 for that.... Sorry, I misread the earlier post, I thought he was saying they were 03 cobra wheels..my bad... I guess I should have looked harder, but I sure wish I could get them in a 17x9, I think they are much better looking than the 03 wheels... Thanks again, I knew you guys would know....

Yeah, just like everyone has said, they are standard wheels.

I bought my 2003 GT new with those wheels on it...it's the Premium GT, and those wheels are the optional wheel (the standard wheel for the Premium GT is the Bullitt-style wheel).

I've had 2 of the wheels replaced due to a nasty accident and the shop couldn't find the wheel at first. I told them they could also look for the 2001 Cobra wheel. Same wheel, different center cap. The 1999 Cobra wheel is a satin finish, but same design.

Certainly don't see too many GTs with that wheel on 'em. Here's mine:

Love the wheels, but I too wish they were bigger. What size tires are you guys running on yours? What's the biggest tires you can run on them?
