I’m replacing the old battery cables and this connector that goes to the negative on the battery has seen better days. The other end had three wires connected to it. What is this? Oreilly auto is stumped and so am I.
I don't know the reason for the connector only that it is a ground for the eec like was said above, it should run to a screw on the inner fender apron between the battery and the solenoid then another wire from there to the negative battery cable/post.
