Hi all. I have a 1990 mustang GT Mustang . I need to install 1 or 2 ( rubber coil spring spacers) on The rear drivers side. How can I get a little play/slack in the spring to install spacers,w/o taking everything apart ? thanks
These are the spacers I have.

take the weight off the suspension to decompress the coil and open up the gap so your spacer can drop in?

Put rear body on jackstands. Put jack under rear end. Unbolt both rear shocks and quads. At that point you can drop one side of rear end far enough down to pull coil out by hand. Watch the center brake line that you don't pull it too far
