I have MSD and a FMS tach. I hooked up the green wire to the neg. side of the coil, I astart the can and the tach doesnt work. I know im getting power to it, when then ignition is one, the shift light comes on for a few seconds But when i run it, it doesnt budge. There is a note on the instructions to that when using MSD ignitions to hook it up to the tach terminal, where the hells is that at. Pretty much, where are you guys who run MSD and an aftermarket tach running your wires. Thanks.

I did the same thing - you need to hook it up to the tach output. the msd tach output is on the end of the unit beside one of the harness'. it takes a female spade terminal. If you look at the unit, you will see a round piece of rubber, this is the tach output. If you need a pic go to msdignition.com and download the instructions the msd6al.
