Help installing ford gt pump

the outlet of the GT pump is a different size than the hose that goes to the fuel pump. i think it's smaller, i don't remember for sure. that's the main problem is going from one diameter to another. you'll need to modify the wiring to connect to the pump as well.

drill holes in basket(so it don't suck dry),use stock pick-up screen, install spade electrical connectors, run 5/16 submersable fuel line from pump to hat(gates 27903) thats pretty much it.

I wouldn't put a GT pump in the stock non-baffled tank. That pump can suck the gas from the basket faster than basket can be filled. If you want to risk your engine, go ahead and use the stock tank. If you want to do it right, buy a cobra tank with pumps.

Did you read were you drill holes in basket? and if you go into boost/wot at less than 1/4 tank and pop your eng. thats your own damn fault, the operator has to be responsable and use common sense,or you should not be moddindg in the first place. there is the perferct world then there is the real world some of us live in
