When I put my BBK's in it took me 3 days, but I also did it in a grocery store parking lot in february. I didnt have to disconnect the steering but i did jack the engine up quite a bit, I think until the trans hit the bottom of the tunnel, dont forget to loosen the trans mount. I also did one from the top and one from the bottom. Dont stress, its gonna be a pain in the ass but damn its worth it for sure!

ahh thanks for the bid of relief i thught i was the only one,but no i got one sie in the drvers side it too bout 2 hours just got done, i didnt touch the engine i removed teh steering n squeezed the headers in then put teh steering bac pain in the assssss

thanks mike

Sounds like your doing everything right, gotta love the great fit of MAC LTs. :flag: I remember the first time I put a set on... :fuss:

ok so yesterday i finished about 6 hours for the totall install and lemme ttell you mac sure does make it one tight fit, drivers side..steering had to come off...passenger side...started had to come off, when that was done i installed my mac 3in prochamber, and now im awaiting the delivery of my 3in mac catback =]

i just finished putting mac lt's on my stang. passengerside was the easiest. driverside had to take out the steering shaft and the front of the brake assembly and jack engine up about 3 inshes or so. fit good after that. while the engine was up i did replace engine and tranny mounts, got a ford high torque mini starter. after that had it towed so i can put on magnaflow catz and borla pro xs mufflers and had the exhaust come out before the rear tires. sounds simular to a excotic car.
