I have had a change of heart and want to drop the car and make it handle a little better. yes MTO502 the sway bar is going back on for daily use :rlaugh:

now with my car being as light as it is, obviously it sits just about higher than anyone elses.....

my measured height in the rear is 4 inches from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fender

in the front is 3.5+

now I have Bids on Sportlines and C springs. My thoughts are that the C springs wont lower my car enough with my light weight. I know sportlines are a big drop... but counteracted by the lift of less weight i have I think they may be just right.

Anyone have sportlines and pics perhaps?

and the car is only going to get lighter in the front too.... after this summer.

steeda springs here. i love them and they are cheap.i paid like $180. im not a big fan of "slamming". an inch and a half is good enough for me

i am not a fan of slamming... just framing.....

I dont think you guys understand how much gap i have. in my pics i have to have people sit in the car just too lower it enough for pictures :rlaugh:

Did you concider coil-overs? This will help with your weight loss and you can adust it to where you want it to be. I know very little about suspensions, but I too want to lower mine sometime soon, but I have to be VERY careful as I can not get a finger under my side skirts now. I will have to replace them before I lower my car, which is a good thing because they are a PITA anyways.

i can get X2C coil overs for 60 for my front but for the rear I am SOL

if i could some how get just rear lowering springs that would be perfect. Some C rears would be good with some LCAs

do yall think the Cs will drop my car enough?

here is the current height

I love the stance of killer95s car and thats is what i want my rear to do... but i know it wont go that low because i have stock LCAs and no spare and rear seat delete

my tokicko's ride real nice, the stance is about the same as fanatic's from what i can see from the pic. the only thing i've noticed is it would be nice if there was an adjustment between 3-4,(5way illuminas) up front 3 is a little soft 4 is a little to stiff for just cruising around.

Mine are the plain ol' street springs, H&R's tamest offering. I don't feel any need to go any more serious, because the car is my daily driver & will probably never see a road course.

This car had KYB's on it when I bought it, & they do not do a good job with these springs. Too bouncy. My old '90 vert had the same springs with Koni reds & the car handled & rode fantastic. Eventually I'll improve the struts & shocks, but for now it's not a big enough PITA for me to want to spend the $$.
