Help me decide: Cobra or TMoss

95vert- What makes you think I have my mind set? If I did , I would never have posted this. I haven't said one thing against the advice that is being so freely given to me. I asked for opinions, i am getting them and my mind is wide open to them all. I am actually starting to lean toward the Cobra because of this post, but notice I said lean. Please keep the opinions coming my mustang brethern. :nice:

calm down bro, i'm sorry, i guess. it just seemed that way on your post comparing both ideas. i'm sticking to the idea of keeping the cobra and forgetting about the STB

The difference will come in where the power is made. AVERAGE power over a 2,000-5,600 rpm band will be essentially the same. Rio5.0 put a Cobra on his engine after taking off my ported lower. With my lower he made 255RWHP ands 311RWTQ, with the Cobra he made 265RWHP and lost ~15ft-lbs, but the average HP from 3,000-5,600 rpm was the same. My lower made more torque/power in the lower-midrange and the Cobra made more peak. Just waht you'd expect. I have put both his dynos in a spread sheet and graphed them both so people can see the diffeerences. That sheet is in my home computer, so I'd have to post it up later.

By the way, Rio has Stage II Thumpers, a Steeda #19 cam and long tubes in his 5spd GT. With a stock headed and cammed car, the differences may even less.

Edit: here is the comparison guys - real numbers from a guy/car that we all know.
