ok i know the gear questions been beat to death but bear with me. i was goin to go with a 4.10 gear to work with my 94 gt. this would work with my t-5, gt40 heads, explorer intake, full exaust, and nitrous. i will probably be in the mid to high 12's with this combo and 4.10's . BUT in about a year will be ditching my nitrous for a d series procharger. i am concerned that the 4.10 will be too much for the blower. im not a blower person so i dont know. ive heard there is some things that the 410 dont allow the blower to be in the power band or something . i dont want to swith the gears again when i do supercharge it. plese help me decide

keep thinking in the long run. dont 4.10 it. hell, you could benefit from 3.55s with the blower. I work for a procharger distributor so I know what kind of power youll be putting down with the D series. I say 3.73 at steepest!

I would just go 3.73s. My car feels like an animal with 300rwhp and 3.73 so i would bet that ur car with the nitrous feels like its got a lot of grunt. With a procharger u want to be up in the RPMS because RPMs make the boost. I would just got with 3.73s because its such agood all around gear. I dunno maybe some blower guys will come and chime in.

3.55 would be good with such a decent sized blower. His 300 rwhp isnt crap compared to the numbers of a HCI with mid size blower combo. 3.73 is perfect for him, but wont be for you. If you want those gears, hop them in. 3.55s will get you there easily in the powerband.

are you building a race car??? 22 psi with 4.10s is in the racecar level. im saying 3.55 for driving purposes. you just wont spin so badly with them. 4.10s will be nothing but a smoke show.
