I have a 2001 Bullitt mustang with CHP Forged internal stroker kit to a 5.1l on order, i have most of the basic boltons, header, x pipe, flowmasters, u/d pulleys, k and n CAI, all these are sitting in my basement waiting for my block to be bored .020 over and eveyrthign installed. Will this setup give me 350fwhp?? If not what will?? And i'm only 18 so on a tight budget, but any help would be greatly appreciated, And also who makes a good performance chip for my setup? Thanks!

have you registered on imboc.com?

I'm looking to get about 300 to the wheels out of my bullitt, and there's a few posts on imboc about it telling what it would take

no i havent registered on imboc but i have a 2001 TRUE BLUE BULLITT#4370, what mods do you have done to yours to reachthat hp level?

I'm not at that level, but my goal is to get 300 to the ground n/a. Check this thread out..

no you wont. That stroker kit will not give you the power you are looking for. You need to get your heads worked on and get some cams. The longer stroke will give you more torque all around but it wont give you the amount of HP you are looking for. The heads need to flow more.

I dynoed at 310 to the wheels. That is almost 350fwhp. If I had more aggressive cams, I would have got 350 without a problem. stock shortblock.

compcams has a set of cams xe274h for my make and model, what kinda increases would that do for me?? and would that get me 300rwhp?? another thing is installation for a stroker kit and cams is probably gonna cost a lot?? about how much extra would it be to get the cams installed?? and would it all hafta be tuned?? i know i would need valve springs. any other mods that can get me where i need to be??

With all those mods you are going to do to you ride, yes you will need a tune. With those cams, you may get 300rwhp but I would get a cam with a .550 lift. Lift creates power. VT is the cams to go with if you are going all motor.
