Ryan, if you ever saw the pile of parts I have waiting for install you would die. I have enough parts to build another fox.

I have so many i don't even know where to begin. For my engine alone I have gt-40P's, 1.7's, TFS stage 1 cam, cobra intake, 65mm tb, 24# injectors, MAF conversion, pushrods, lifters, etc etc. I cant put it together because i'm too busy installing mods all over the rest of the damn car.

Been sitting 6 years...kinda want to drive it this summer

+1 Sometimes I hate being a grown up. I'm only 42, but 17 was about 3 lifetimes ago. All the time I used to waste on my cars, whenever I wanted to. Friends came by, lots of help back then. Now, the next thing I'm gonna get done on the Mustang is after the whole rest of my life is content. Right about never, it seems. Shut off the computer, Ryan, get in the garage, thats where your 17 year old life should be. Thats where mine was, anyhow. Go get your hands dirty, go breathe fresh air, listen to loud mufflers and music, cuz the clock is ticking. The time comes awful fast when the computer is as close to your car life as you can get.

its easy to do when you have al the gaskets with you at 2 am lol. hardest part is either re locating the ACT sensor or drilling and tapping the intake for it which is still simple but i am choosing to relocate it into the intake tube like it is in the SN95 cars. this way it reads the temps as it comes into the motor not after its in and already heated up a little bit

anyways. i got side tracked with helping my dad on his mustang and mine got put on hold. this is where it sits right now. just got to put the thermostat in, re locate the ACT sensor and extend the wires, put the distributer back in and do the firing order..and i think thats it and im going to put my new exhaust tips on it. ( looks to plain to me with them dumped. sounds good though!!)
also not sure how i feel about the a/c compressor black. so i think im going to get some silver and do all the accessories in silver. also just did a quick few coats on valve covers to last for the summer then this winter when i tear down to do a F cam and gt40 heads ill pick up some "finned" powerd by ford or something like that for it. also the red vacum caps. its what i had laying around for right now. ill get black ones later on. ( it will be my first drive to the parts store with it SOON!)

cell phone pics so everything looks ****ty.

have better pics but there on a buddies cam.

i know exactly what you mean man, i'm the same way. i still haven't put my window trim, side skirts or tail pipes on. i also have my front spring isolators sitting in my room that i need to install to band-aid my rubbing issue. but in the last week i've rebuilt the top end of a friend's subaru legacy and body worked the quarter panel on some lady's accord!

i need to get around to working on my own ****, lol.

that's where I am. I have enough engine, body, and suspension parts that I could prolly resurrect two fox's from a JY. I just dont have the time or energy, then there is family, work, and a house that refuses to let me have a moments peace and quiet.

Ok, theres a problem. This is supposed to be FUN, man. Making cars your whole life will make you hate them. You don't want to burn out on them, and its easy to do. Its early this year. Try this. Spend the whole next weekend with the garage shut, hang with friends somewhere else, anywhere else. Leave the Mustang alone, take out a chick, go to the movies, waste your money on nothing. On Monday, you'll miss it, you'll want to play throttle-jockey, and it'll be fun again.

I had this and it didn't work well for me, but everyones different.

I like the set up I have now. She has her Mercedes, likes going fast in the Mustang sometimes, and will go to races and shows for ME, not the cars and the experience. It works well if I want to do car stuff alone, also works that she will do it, if I ask.

Grabbing some beers (rootbeers for you underage guys) hanging with 4 or 5 good friends, ordering some wings later, wrenching on the car, talking about women, drunk times and everything else is a time honored tradition. When I brought a girl into it, it wasn't the same.

My .02 of course!
