Help me spend money - suspension kits?

OK, here's the deal. My wife and I are expecting BabyG in June. Awesome wife hands me one of her bonus checks and tells me to spend it on the car because she realizes that I being financially anal will not spend anything on the car after the baby comes.

I already asked you all about the plenum/TB combo (see thread), and decided that at my level of mods it probably would be money better spent on something else, since my car only has a K&N FIPK and performance mufflers.

I am looking around and I see that MRT has an inexpensive suspension package. I also hear that FRPP has a "Mustang Handling Kit" that is basically the Bullitt suspension in a box, that is fairly inexpensive. I don't need to go too extreme since I want to keep a comfortable ride, but I do like the looks of a lightly slammed 'stang, and I already like what my subframes did for my handling, so this would take it one step further.

Has anyone here bought either of these kits and do you like them? How much would you pay for an installation? Any other recommendations? Of course I would love to have the Eibach Pro-System-Plus but I don't have 1,200 dollars right now that I would spend on the car. At this price range ($500-600), would I be better off with something else?

Thanks for your help

FRPP is selling the Mach 1 suspension as a package for $500 bucks. I saw it in MM&FF for $400. Lowers the car a little (about an inch I think) . Comes with shocks, struts, springs and sway bars.

Have you checked out tire rack they have the Eiback Pro Kit Plus for $909 I think.

Steeda Sport springs (should find for less than $175 shipped), Pro3i UCA's and LCA's from the partshopper here (not sure on prices, but cheap and very good), these right here with your sub frames would be more than enough for a daily driver without any power mods.. Have you considered an X-pipe or pulleys or any other power bolt ons? I would only recommend headers, midpipe, catback, pulleys, cams, heads, or a supercharger, the rest seems to be too much $/hp...unless you have a low goal in mind.. just my $ :flag: .02

check out stangstore.com they have the bullit and Mach 1 kits cheap with the tokico shocks and they have other springs for the same money that will lower the car more than a stock bullit/mach1
