hello again! i got my 4.10s ordered yesterday (FRPP) and now im onto the next mod.

now im going for that easy power: nitrous.

i dont know jack squat about nitrous except from what i seen in movies.

what is a good nitrous set up? Wet or Dry? im dont wanna do any mods to the block, pistons, or any internals so what would be a safe system?

and round how much would i be spending?

get Nitrous Express efi kit(wet), with all the goodies in the upgrade kit, you can safetly run a 100 shot on stock internals, i ran 150 on my stock block but do not reccomend it. you will wanna run lower timing a few degrees or just use like a 101oct race fuel for the spray.

i'd say about 800-1k$, install is easy, if you don't feel confortable with it pay someone.

i would go with a wet system. you should run forged pistons with NOS. its a good idea to upgrade ignition system so you can have a retard control when on the juice. 2 degrees retard for every 50hp. and upgrading a fuel sytem isnt a bad idea when you are on juice either. as for cash u can spend as much as you want or as little.

tips:let the motor cool down after runs, use it wisely(not messing around), get a rpm window switch or wot switch, always leave it unarmed while doing burnouts, then purge and stage!

if you get a msd digital 6 ignition box it has timing retard switch which gets wired into the NOS system or get a timing light lossen distributor and retard 2-4 degrees. then tighten distributor back down.

that wouldn't work considering 99+gts do not have distributors, haha, get a steeda timing adjuster and pullies while your at it.

got the pulleys (BBK) already and i was eyeing a BBK timing adjuster kit but i know steeda makes better products.

is the adjuster kit an easy install and at what degree should i set it at?

ok i just checked out steedas site and it was 139.

i also noticed it said this

We went the extra mile designing this part, to make sure it will fit with Steeda underdrive pulleys or Vortech and Paxton superchargers

would it work with my BBK pullies?

thanks again

you can use the TA with the superchargers but will have to ditch the pullies.

i also have nx its easy as hell to install on the 99+ cars no vacuum lines problems like i had with the nos kit on my probe gt

and like every one said get all the safe stuff to help protect your motor

once i hit the dyno i will be adjusting every thing for 75shot on the street and 100shot for the track

and with a set of tires and suspension set-up its an easy 12 sec car if not better

ps get a bottle warmer if u want to see the full potental of your kit
600-800psi = hmm is that it and 950-1050psi = big ass smile believe me 600psi run and a 950psi run are like night and day
