I have a 1990 gt 5.0 foxbody and recently it has stopped running i dont here the fuel pump prime and i have no more spark now. What i believe the root of the cause was is that the guy i bought the car from had duel electric fans on it but robbed power from the ignition connectors with no fuze or anything like that just a single wire which i think somthing gave out. It all started with the car turning off randomly while driving and some times back firing. Then i would have to re turn the car on while still rolling and it would run just fine. But now i have no spark and dont hear the fuel pump prime. I have replaced the entire ignition switch and the TFI module on the distributor and the distributor and ecu. Another thing to note is that theres no power the ignition connectors nor spark. All the other electrical systems in the car work. Im assuming it might be the distributor or ecu but im not sure. Since ive replaced the ecu i now have the fuel pump primming not sure why but a win is a win but i still jave no spark maybe a fusable link?
