I just got my heads back from JBA racing and they neglected to put on the outside of the bags which head went to which bank. is there any way to tell which one is which? I am serious need of help with this one I have tonight only pretty much to get this done. ANY help would be appreciated.

I've never heard of cylinder heads being made for a specific side of the engine. The stock ones are interchangeable from the factory -- the only reason to keep track of which side cylinder heads go to is if you're re-installing them without rebuilding them. Did JBA say the heads were specific to a side, or are you presuming they are?

What about the tube that runs across the back of the motor from head to head? and the accessory bolt holes? They are the same on both ends of the head? The long head bolts are next to the intake manifold & the short ones next to the headers? I though it would be a no brainer, or I'm not reading your question right?

Those holes are the same on both sides of the head, though I believe there are threaded inserts in the front holes for the accessories. You may have to transfer those over from your stock heads.

when I spoke with JBA last night right before they were closing they said that it did matter which side of the engine the heads went on. because if you switch them up you change the exhaust ports. I did find the Air tube thought which runs between them on the back and I am going to install them that way and see what happens. Crossed fingers.

Wha...? What could JBA be smoking? Well, the important thing is you found a way to put them on. Good luck.
