Valve cover, make sure all your valve cover bolts are tight and ensure your gasket is in there. Are you familar with the engine or lost in the sauce?

just put in a freshly rebuilt engine. got it running for the first time and it is spewing oil out of the back of the driver side bank, closest to 8. i checked the plugs, no oil on them so no bad rings and it shouldnt be a head gasket or else there would be water. i only have a little under a half a guage of oil pressure whick is odd for a fresh rebuild engine. anyone got any ideas where the oil is comming from. it is splasing a touch on the headers and covering the firewall.

Yea ur telling me, if its the drivers side gaskets, you may need to remove the upper intake to replace it. However, before doing that, be sure thats where the leak is from, it may just be a loose bolt. Welcome to the club, good luck.
