help on installing a fuel pressure reg.

My buddy is haveing me help him install a fuel pressure regulator, and can anyone give me any tips, as far as the installation, i can figure that out i guess, but my main problem is: what should i set the fuel pressure to? He has a 347 stroker engine, with afr heads, and a holly sysyemax intake. he has 24 lb injectors. Also, where can i mount his fuel gauge? my car has a easy shrader valve, but i cant seem to fine one on his. thanks!

welp i can only answer a few questions, but you'll have to pull the upper intake to make things 100 times easier, i dont think its possible without taking it off. start with that, there are 3 small allen bolts holding it on. take em off, put the new regulator on, and put the intake back on. it sounds easy, but the those allen bolts are pain in the dick! as for the fuel pressure, you'll have to play with it to get it right. only thing i can say is start a few psi above stock, and go up from there, you dont want it to rich. good luck with it, im sure other people will give some better advice!
