I always stick with the rubber type. The cork tend to tear apart. My Ford gaskets are great. Used them 10-12 times.

FYI, I had a hell of a time with the rubber ones and with the cork ones, they kept squeezing out on me and leaking.

The perfect solution came from frpp. They sell metal valve cover gaskets, that have a little bit of rubber on the ends. They in fact come on all motorsport packages, however, they sell them seperately. They are pretty much re useable indefinately, and are fool proof against leaking, and don't cost too much. that's the only way for me.

I believe those are the one he is asking about. Those are the ones that come factory on the car.

You're probably right, being that his car is a 93. FYI, they're 99% steel, 1% rubber, so when he said stock rubber ones, that led me to believe he didn't have those. I'm pretty sure only the later foxes had em too, maybe 90-93?? As my 86's don't have them.
